I wish I could say that I became a “perfect” vegan overnight, but that wasn’t the case. Before I began my journey of healthy and conscious eating, I struggled with eating disorders, food addiction and health problems until I found a solution in a plant-based diet.
I am not a doctor or coach, just a regular girl who has been in your shoes and knows how hard it can be to battle with food, changing diets, reducing sugar etc. Trust me, I’ve been there.

I am dedicated to helping people develop eating habits with knowledge that I’ve gained through my own struggle with food and years of “food wars”. I believe that we truly are what we eat. What we put in our body, that is what we will get. Like a seed waiting for harvest. If we plant good seeds, a good harvest will grow. But unfortunately, a single perfect diet does not exist as we are all different and have different needs. We are all unique. I may experience something in life in a certain way, while somebody else feels completely different about it. Our bodies are different, we each have different needs, different tastes, require different amounts of exercise etc. So, each of us have to do what we feel is right for our body, listen to our bodies, listen to our hearts. Food can often be the solution though, especially if you are battling with illness.
I grew up in a country where it was normal to eat meat 3 times a day! Yes, really - for breakfast we would have a bread roll & ham, for lunch chicken and for dinner some beef.

So, I never thought I could go vegan. If you are used to this kind of diet, transitioning to a plant-based one is extremely challenging, and I struggled with it for years. On and off. Just as I would start getting into the habit of eating plant-based foods, I would visit my home country and the only thing you can eat there is meat. So, I had to eat it and because I actually always loved meat, I would quickly revert to my old eating habits. And that of course would mean that I had to start all over again. Avoiding meat, trying to break my addiction to sugar & cheese. I’ve been at war with food ever since I was a teenager. It truly is a love-hate relationship.

But then, being diagnosed with an illness changed the way I view food. Not a life-threatening illness but doctors didn't have a solution for me. I spent hundreds of hours trying to find a way to manage or cure this illness. And guess what happened - I found a solution in plant-based food!
